There are 4 main reasons that lawyers object. First, an improper question has been asked. A question can be improper for a number of reasons, from the way they ask the question to the judge has already ruled on what questions cannot be asked. Second, in order to preserve the record. A lot of things that come up in appeal as an issue, must be protected by an objection during trial.
